Liquid Thanksgiving
From the slightly bizarre files:
Personally, I can’t think of anything worse than a thick brown drink (besides the fact that it brings back memories of Willy Wonka) but someone must like it.

After the startling success of its turkey and gravy-flavoured soda during last year’s US holiday season, a Seattle soda company will be serving up green beans and casserole, mashed potatoes and butter, fruitcake and cranberry flavours.
This year, Jones Soda is offering the turkey and gravy sodas as a set in 15,000 holiday packs for US$16 each, complete with utensils.
‘We realised consumers are concerned about the 2,000 calories that each full holiday meal contains. That’s why we made our sodas zero calories and zero carbs.’
Particularly noteworthy on the menu is the green beans and casserole soda, he added, saying: ‘We’re proud that we accented this dish with fried onions.’
