Rainbow Colours

Gone are the dull greys, browns, and blacks of winter; spring has arrived - and by looking in the window of most stores - you can tell.

Mannequins are dolled up in layers of bright, clashing clothes, teamed with equally painful-looking red, or see-through white pants. On their own, one of these items could look good, or at least normal, but people tend to go for layers, copying the mannequins.

Unfortunately, these layers and layers of strongly contrasting colours usually suit those with a pasty complexion, similar to that of the beige mannequins - who have no facial colours, hair, or anything else that could possibly make them a little more lifelike.

When one doesn’t have such pasty skin, layers and layers of rainbow colours in rather, striking shades leaves them looking like a clown.
