Gangsta
“Gangsta” appears to be one of the latest looks teenagers are trying to achieve.
This look is achieved by the wearing of semi-baggy knee length shorts of some description, along with either a baggy t-shirt if you’re a guy (alternatively, no shirt) or a singlet for a girl - covered by a baggy hoodie. Then either skater-type shoes, vans, or chucks… and a bandana/cap is optional, though it completes the whole look nicely - as does various items of bling.
In general, speech is tainted by expletives and “yo biatch!”, as well as the usual “bro!”s and “suuup homie?!”s that is generally associated with the school dropouts of West Auckland. The whole image is probably based on that of 50 Cent and others similar…
